What do think about Wiki's? Would you be able to use it in your own classroom?
Wiki's is a very useful tool for me. I use it all the time in my special education class all the time. It helps me understand all the true definitions of the learning disabilities. I will try and get my students use this tool because i believe its a really great tool.

Do you believe that learning by conversing in learning communities can be more effective than traditional instruction? What evidence would we need to confirm (or reject) that belief?
I believe its better than traditional instruction. because i with me its a lot easier being around people in a learning enviorment than just sitting in a classroom listening to one person day after day just gets boring.

Do you think that students have different learning styles because of their personality types? According to the test that you have just done, do you think it will help you know your students better? How?
Yes students personality makes their leaning styles different. I'm not really sure if this test will make me know them any better.

Spreadsheet creating a gradebook and a material aid

what do you think about Spreadsheet? Is it useful? Would you use it in your classroom?

The spreadsheets are really easy and fun to use, I think they are very useful to making things easy for the teachers. I will use it in my classroom just to help me out with things to make it eaiser on me.

As a teacher, why do we use Spreadsheet? What is the advantage of a Spreadsheet over a calculator? According to the textbook, it mentions the three primary functions of Spreadsheets. What do you think about them? Can you think of something else?

To have a back up of are paper copy of like a grade book. When using the spreed sheet you can see every number that you have put in and you are more able to see if there are any incorrect entries. And what i like about it is that you can show the students what they need to do ( like what they need to do on the final to have a higher grade.)

I think this is one of the most important tools for a teacher because we will have more time to help the students when if we didn't have it we would have to spend that time averaging grades.

4.What are some ways that you could use he technology ideas in Chapter 6 to support your curriculum and student learners?

1. Blog's are really good tool to have. They are really good thing for you to be able to help one another or a way to get something off of your chest, or a communication tool with students teachers or your family's.
2. Well just like the guy that was talking about yoo can post assigment info for the parents. Because we all know how forgetful kids at young ages can be and its a really good way for their parents to stay involved.
3.Not to that point. Its a really good tool for us as students to have one cause we can talk with one a nother online about homework problems or something to that matter.
4.its more student involment with one another. its gets the kids working with one another of every day class work.

Aaron Kinney

Hello, my name is Aaron Kinney. I am a junior this year, but i still have a long time until i finish. I am a math major, I am planning on being a math teacher and a coach of some sort. I am the youngest of two brothers. My oldest brother is married and has two little girls. My next brother is about 18 months older than i am and he is a senior here at commerce and is a full time coach at Emory ISD. I played minor league baseball this summer for about two weeks and they told me that i had the talent to be there but not the size, so i came back to commerce to finish my education journey.
